Light Source Types of LED Street Light
There are two types of LED light sources for LED Street Light. One is to use low-power SMD LED chips. Generally, there are hundreds of LEDs of a lamp fixture. It’s lower cost and lower brightness output. The other type is high power LED Chips. Commonly they’re combine with Optical lense which can maximize the brightness output of a lamp fixture but with cost is higher than lower power SMD LEDs. Their biggest advantage is brightness output stability, high lumen and long life span. That’s why High Power LED Chips are more commonly used for LED Street Light and LED Solar Street Light.
The power of LED chip is different.
High-power LED lamps generally use 1-3W high-power LED chips. The maximum power of a single high-power LED chip can reach more than 200W.
Low-power LED lamps generally use SMD LED chips:

How to Chose the light source type of street light for you ?
